Resident Director
Dr. Parker was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2015 with a major in English Literature and a minor in Medicine, Literature, and Culture, and was recognized as a Buckley Public Service Scholar. She attended Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school from 2017-2021. While in Virginia for medical school, she was a member of the VAFP Board of Directors as a Student Director and served as the president of the Family Medicine Interest Group for LUCOM. She is currently a second-year resident at the Novant Health Family Medicine Residency Program in Cornelius, NC. She and her husband enjoy cooking for friends, running, and being outdoors.
