     Deanna M. Didiano, DO

Dr. Deanna Didiano grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she earned a B.S. in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to medical school, graduating in 2012 from The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Didiano completed her family medicine residency at Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine in Concord, NC. During residency Dr. Didiano started her active involvement with the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians servicing as Resident-Director and continues her involvement today as the Chair of the Advocacy Committee and serves on the NCAFP Board of Directors. Following Residency, she completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Cone Health Sports Medicine in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Didiano currently practices Sports Medicine for Atrium Health in the greater Charlotte area. She serves as team physician for Lincoln County high schools and team physician for Queens University in Charlotte, NC. Prior to transitioning to full-time sports medicine, Dr. Didiano practiced family medicine and served as Medical Director of Atrium Health Primary Care Denver Family Medicine. Dr. Didiano has a true passion for providing the highest quality of preventive medicine, sports medicine, and integrative medicine to the piedmont region. She has extended her passion for healthcare through her appointment by Governor Roy Cooper to the North Carolina Board of Dietetics and Nutrition as of July 2023.
